PROOF OF CONCEPT here's the first painting i did of this new series. I wanted to try out the idea of painting large color versions of my comical drawings. I chose to do a self portrait based on a drawing i had made for my Myspace page.





here's the workspace. big flat space. natural lighting mixed with compact flourescent bulbs (saving energy, thereby saving the world). it's pretty messy, but still, it's as much natural light that i can get and i get to spy on the neighbors.
